Founded in 1823, Foxcroft Academy’s college preparatory curriculum offers comprehensive visual, performing, and media arts courses along with technical education programs as well as a recently introduced STEM program. Foxcroft Academy also offers the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, for the first time during the 2019-2020 year.
FACILITIES
Located on 125-acres in northern New England, the campus facilities include four modern residence halls, five athletic playing fields, four brand-new tennis courts, an outdoor basketball court, and a main academic complex.
SPORTS AND ARTS
Foxcroft Academy’s athletics program is exceptionally strong with more than 20 sports teams and 19 state championship titles.
The school’s visual, performing, fine, and media arts programs are comprehensive, offering courses such as sculptural welding, creative textiles, and filmmaking.
DORMITORIES AND STUDENT LIFE
Foxcroft Academy’s two male and two female dorms house 8-12 students each and provide access to wireless internet and televisions. Students can take advantage of Maine’s expansive wilderness with extracurriculars such as outdoors club and environmental club.
